Project Data - Structure Analysis Report (SAR Table)

Last Updated: Dec 13, 2017 06:40AM PST

The SAR Table Report can be manipulated to display biological values associated with your search results and saved as templates for future use. Please see the video below which demonstrations the SAR Table Report features.

1. ScienceCloud provides users with several report options. Here we will demonstrate the SAR Table Report.

2. After performing a search, click
Openin: SAR Table to open the SAR Table Report.

3. The SAR Table can be manipulated into exactly what you are looking for.

4. Click the “X” beside entries to remove them from the table.

5. You can use Filter to filter the values displayed on the table; here we will filter to show values less than 20.

6. Column values can be sorted ascending or descending.

7. You can use the Reset link to reset the filters that have been applied to the table.

8. If your Assay or dictionary items were entered with an External ID associated, you will see the Use External ID in Headers option – click this to use the External ID instead of the Name. Click Use Name in Headers to revert back to the default.

9. By default, the SAR Table will show the entity representations; these can be hidden by selecting Hide entity representations and can be restored by clicking Show entity representations.

10. Entries on the SAR table are grouped by Batch by default; click Group by Entity to change the grouping.

11. Note that cells with a red triangle indicate multiple values are present; click on the cell to show the multiple values – when grouped by the entity, the batch id will be shown along with the value.

12. If you want to display other assays, assay parameters or physchem properties on the table, click Display more values. Add the values you want to see and click Update; note that the table refreshes with the added information.

13. The SAR Table can be exported into several formats; select the format from the dropdown list.

14. Tasks are also available for use with the SAR Table as well by clicking Tasks.

15. Entity type image representations are now shown on the SAR Table, which includes HELM, Sequence, Structure and None.

16. Just as is shown in the Results page after a search, you can sort the entries on the SAR Table as needed.

17. Also as on the Results page, the SAR table will show you the social information associated with the entry and you can comment, like or favorite batches as needed.

18. If you click the batch id or entity id, you will be brought to Single View for more detailed information on the batch.

19. Selection boxes are available to filter what data is used in Tasks and Export; if nothing is selected then everything on the SAR Table will be used.

20. Multiple value cells include the total number of multiple values present, as indicated by “N”; also shown is the standard deviation, as indicated by “SD”.

21. The Value link is used to change the multiple-value displayed by default; you can also select conditional formatting entries to appear on the table.

22. If you hover over names that appear shortened, such as this one, the original longer name will appear as a tooltip.

23. Names of the headers can be changed if needed.

24. Clicking the (i) will display more information for the entry; notice that you will be shown any custom properties associated with the entry at the bottom of the tooltip.

25. Columns can be reorganized to however you would like by clicking and dragging them.

26. If you have customized the SAR Table to be a report you’d like to use in the future, click Save to save it as a template.

27. Give the template a name and comments if needed; select whether the template should be Public (available to all users with access to this project) or Private (only available to you).

28. SAR templates can be shared by clicking Share; select the users you wish to share the template with.

29. If we close the SAR table and run a new search with different search criteria, notice that when we open the SAR table we can again use Open to load the saved SAR template to employ the same criteria.

30. Click Reset to revert the SAR table back to the original version opened after the search.
